In ancient times, this performance -- in an amphitheater, say full of Greeks and under similarly competitive conditions -- would have been met with a standing ovation of 15 minutes or more. You can see here the show runners had to stop them from continuing to cheer. I'm glad this boy got to have the experience and that he appreciated it. I hope he's found success.

Everyone please pray that Jack NEVER turns into a Justin Bieber. Less than 48 hours ago he was arrested in Miami Florida,(US) for driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, expired drivers license, drag racing (with rented Lamborghinis) on a peaceful street at 4am,(60mph in a 30mph zone), resisting arrest, and using so many "F bombs" to the police who arrested him. He was out on bail after an hour but he will still have to go to trial eventually. He is 19 and out of control. Jack, I know you are at least 15 now as I've seen more current songs from you (I fell in love with you from the very first time I saw this) and I pray that you remain humble and don't let money take away your self pride. God bless you young man with love from a mom in the U.S.

maria verdese I believe she is from what I saw of her during his time on the show. Bieber's mom was always a very good presence for Justin while he was under 18. However, Justin has made many "friends" in the recording industry who are at least 5 years older than him which probably allows him entrance to places he isn't supposed to be legally til he is 21. He is still only 19. And the friends in my opinion are not friends, they are using him and getting rich from him so they aren't going to tell him to go to rehab and get all better then come back. It's a sad situation he is in. I try to keep the youth of the world in my prayers that they are healthy and grow old. It's something that too many people are denied either by disease, suicide, or accident of some form.
