I was looking for something to watch and came across the program aired one year ago. When I heard Jai Waetford Audition, I was impressed. When he sang the song he wrote, I was blown away. As I continued to view weekly episodes in chronological order, I continued to be impressed. Many of the songs, those considered to be contemporary, I've never heard, they are not a genre I care to support. Yeah, a song here a song there, but not an entire album. That said, this young man has wooed me to listen to his version of each song. Impressive. But then I watched this one. I had never heard this song. I did not know anything about it. I couldn't understand why the judges were soooooo sad. Until it came out that he messed up. As an amateur musician for over 50 years, the one thing you never want the listener to know is...."I messed it up!" Darling', you did what most seasoned professionals take years to learn...you made it sound as if it was supposed to be that way. That's what separates a singer performer, from a genuine true Musician. I didn't notice it had a bad flaw. Should I review it again and look for it? Nah, I'll go looking for your albums....after I finish watching the rest of the episodes. :-) Stay true to yourself.

I am a huge fan of Justin, but people need to stop comparing them, Jai is his own artist and deserves recognition for who he is, not being compared to another artist.

What a same but.. How right wasn´t that line "cuz i won´t give up" in the moment he was struggling and with anger strummed back in to it again. That boy is so brave and strong. He is a superboy. Talk about what hell of genes that boy will pass on in time.

I've watched a lot of these performances and this kid is truly awesome! In my estimation, he should, in all actuality, win this competition. He's a total package; has the looks, has the voice, has a positive attitude. The music industry is a tough business and to get as far as he's gotten I know Jai has what it takes to make it! Nobody in this competition has been perfect, period. Congratulations, Jai! You rule!

If anyone is here looking for the mistake it is around 3:25-3:30 he kinda paused playing guitar and stuttered the word "cause" but the first time I watched it I didn't even notice anything he is still absolutely amazing!!!!!!

I think the "mistake" was the bridge at 3:22 when he said "cause in the end youre still my friend" Those lyrics were in the middle of the bridge and since he didnt start it right he skipped to the chorus again Uh I didnt really even realize that was a "mistake" when I heard him sing I think neither did most of us

I never noticed he messed up untill I watched week 10 and read the comments for this video and saw the end! I am so glad for jai! They are right, one mistake should not matter! he has pure talent that I have never seen before, and he is 14! I have never seen a 14 year old boy sing like that! The other day I found him on KZbin and I watched his video and I cried then I watched "Your Eyes" and I cried even more! I support Jai 100% he is amazing and he so adorable! His family is lucky to have him! and his talent!

I totally agree! It is not simple for anyone to sing live in front of millions of people, especially at 14. I actually didn't realize he messed up until the judges pointed it out, but he picked himself right back up and kept going. THAT is talent right there.
