I've got a mondeo 2.2 tdci and that's straight piped with a back box off temu the sound it makes underload proper little roar on it then the pigeon sound when I let off... puts a smile on my face just because it annoys my girlfriend 😅

Yeah, remapping something like that without uprating other things like turbo’s, clutch, brakes etc to manage the extra power will just cause issues down the line. Your Honda is engineered properly, cat delete is illegal too 😂

Pass it on quick. At least one of your injector seals is about to blow. That's what's causing the black smoke (unburnt diesel) under load.

@nigelgill6904 I had a straight pipe Mondeo ST Tdci, Stage 2, no DPF...and it didn't smoke black under load. It didn't smoke at all. The black smoke is due to diesel leaking past an injector seal. The Mondeo started doing this 1 month before the seal blew and then the injector bolt snapped in the head. It's burning black smoke because diesel is leaking past a seal. Take my word for it...

It’s not got any injector seals, it’s a pd, the injectors are inside the head… the smoke is unburnt fuel from excessively long injector durations to get the fuel in which isn’t necessary on a stage 1 so its a shit map.
