Omg if I miss one thing from the 90s more than my youth it is The La’s!! Total treasure

Damn Lee you are so special. Thank you for all your musical gifts to us. What a gift you are. Some are bootlegs but people are starving to hear you. I hope you value yourself as much as we do. You've already succeeded so no worries.

a shame this song has never seen the light of day on a offical release.

he makes sounds with his voice which sound like a drum, yet it's still so, so good.

Great observation. His singing and his guitar playing are both incredibly rhythmic and percussive. He *attacks* songs like a rhythm player. It's one of the reasons why even a stripped down, acoustic performance like this becomes a total banger.

+Thomas W Ha ha, strange but true I reckon. It kind of reminds me of a speeded up Redemption Song and it has the rawness of Lennon's howl

I was literally thinking the same thing with the Redemption Song/Lennon vocal. Great minds!

Look up ‘Fishin' Net' by The La's instead. It's this song, only with all the lyrics instead of 'na, na, nas'.

I like it like this just as much, something just so strong, raw, pure. This is music is supposedly unfinished but I love it just how it is. I love the later version too. I can see how hard it is to choose one. I get it.
I think its G major, E minor, and then C major. But you can bounce off the F# before you do E minor. Thats how I play it.

Yeha its pretty bad age for music at the moment, most bands coming out now are pretty shit, all people mostly listen to is bad pop. But yeah if mavers came back he would make some very good tunes.

The influence of heroin? No. I could compose a list of great artists who used and some who still use heroin.
