A completely stoveless backpacking trip may seem a little crazy, but sometimes a little craziness is what you need when you're hiking on a dry trail! Plus, all of this food was significantly cheaper than getting dehydrated meals - so that's a win! Thanks for watching!

Great video. I pretty much eat the same stuff in the warmer months. You gotta get yourself some pre cooked bacon for those wraps with the chicken and tuna!!! And an avocado if you don't mind the weight . Game changer.

That's a pretty perfect menu. I wouldn't change a thing.

It worked pretty well for me. I would change out the BBQ chicken creations with some more buffalo chicken, and probably do some Swedish Fish instead of 1/2 the M&Ms ... but those are pretty minor alterations overall!

Peanut butter & M&M's are good in tortillas. The peanut butter is like glue and holds the M&M's. Also Peanut Butter & raisins are good too, a jelly substitute.

You can get single serve jelly/jam packets like the peanut butter (you can even get dual packets of peanut butter and chocolate or peanut butter and jelly) honey too.

Looks like KZbin is back to unwilling unsubscribing people from channels, but just resubscribed. This was a problem some you KZbinrs experienced a few years back. Good choice on the Pro bars. They’re the only “trail bar” I’m not sick of
@JayMorrisonOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
I had never had the Probars before this year, but they we're on a fantastic deal in Jan/Feb, so I picked up a box of them and give them a try. I was very happy with them - so much so, in fact, I may be willing to pay the regular price for them when it comes time to restock. Thanks for watching, and welcome back ;)

What can you tell me about that shirt!? Cold River is one of my favorite places in the park. I've read just about everything I can get my hands on about Noah John Rondeau.
@JayMorrisonOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
It's actually one of my own designs that you can find in the ADK Woods Walker merch shop. When we hiked the section of the NPT from Long Lake to Lake Placid, we spent a good chunk of time swimming and enjoying the Cold River, so I created the design. You can get your a shirt or sticker here: shop.spreadshirt.com/adkwoodswalker/cold+river

Dude...how about some fiber!?
@JayMorrisonOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
I was pretty well set with the peanut butter. Peanut butter contains more dietary fiber per serving than whole peanuts and is a good source of both soluble and insoluble fiber.
