People like Ja don’t know what it’s like to get pressed by an OG in front of the whole block. To get abused by family. He doesn’t know what it’s like to lose a friend. Get jumped on your way home from school. Or get time because the guy you thought was a brother snitched on you to save himself. He hasn’t seen his family suffer withdrawals. He’s never felt the pain of hunger. doesn’t have the smell of piss and alcohol seared into his brain because crack heads keep pissing on the elevator. My point is this. Street life is NOT what drill rappers make it out to be. It’s not cool. These savages aren’t to be looked up to. It’s a depressing, disgusting, life. Anyone who acts proud of it is coping. We hate it. We hate ourselves.

So an update to the Ja Morant story. The police investigation said no charges will be laid. However, the NBA investigation is slightly different. Based on recent behavior and reports, the NBA could lay fines or go ahead with the suspension. That's to ensure future players don't do the same shit.

Gil explained that his 50 game suspension wasn't from guns in the locker room on his podcast the other day. He got the standard 2 game ban, he got suspended because of how he was acting after the fact. Going after every media person that was attacking his image, and the NBA basically suspended him because they deemed he wasn't mentally fit to compete and he wasn't.

@Kambui Bomani I wouldn't consider small town south Carolina the trenches though, both loving parents in the home, etc. Not saying there wasn't problems or anything but it's far from inner city bmore, Detroit, Philly, Chicago, etc. I'm also not saying mfs from SC are soft. But it's not the vision you get when you think of the trenches. When doing my RESEARCH one thing that did surprise me was how diverse it is, thats pretty cool considering in most places it's overwhelmingly one way or the other. When Google search of is his hometown a safe place to live it goes as follows "this is a quiet place to live, but not much to do if thats what you like". Idk maybe our definitions are conflicted.

Who they hang out with, what they do, etc... they want return on investment, not a lot of young people know. Found out from my current employer after they promoted me and up my salary to 6 figures. Didn't realize how much they were tracking me before the promotion to ensure the investment they will make towards me will have a large return.

Colorado dropped the charges (Like anyone is surprised) and you're all happy for him but if that was one of us who wasn't famous then there woulda been an arrest warrant for us same day. I use to be the guy who supported all these celebrities when the got in trouble, but after a while You gotta realize that if you want anything other than accountability you're part of the problem.

Ja is literally coming back tomorrow and I think he’s going to learn off his mistake. Everybody deserves a 2nd chance. And he literally said he’s going to work on himself as a person like you guys gotta chill. He’s going to be okay. And the title of the video « Ja Morant’s Problems Just Got Worse » no, they’re actually getting better, they investigated everything and found no evidence and no signs of weapons ever being brought with him, he’s not guilty. And he’s coming back tomorrow wether you like it or not.

I think the fact the nba didn’t suspend him right away is because he’s a superstar player and they give him more leeway than if it were a bad player for example. And even now after the fact the nba doesn’t want to fire him/ suspend him because he’s an all star. But now, it kicks them in the crotch.

I really hope he will be able to beat his battles with his mental health. Mental health is the most loneliest struggle and one of the darkest struggles because of how lonely it is. Hopefully this will be his last and only hiccup in his career. I want to see him play for a long time😫😓 He's the reason I started watching the NBA, now I'm too big of a fan . One of my favorite players, hope things will improve from here on out! Love Ja❤❤❤❤❤ I really don't want to see anything bad happen to him!!!

Silver got to be hard on this one to set a precedent. Then he will have it easier in the future. He will lose money, but will have it easier and work on his reputation. Lose Ja! He messed up! Imagine that behavior in a normal work environment as a normal being.
