I met him once when i was just a kid, prob like 14. He was super cool, signed my cd, told me i was doing right by doing good in school. He was whipping a pretty green Benz, had his wife Aisha with him. Aisha told me i was pretty i said thank u, u are too. She was. Because of how nice he was in person, i never turned on Ja. I didnt care who went against him, i was a fan. Dont get me wrong i liked G Unit, but i always liked Murder Inc and still do. I was born in 90 and Ja, Ashanti, etc were huge when i was young. They are a staple of my childhood. And tbh Ja held his own thru it all IMO. So many turned his back on him and shitted on him, and he still came back hard with New York, Wonderful, etc. He is more focused on his family life now but he had a great run, no one stats on top of rap forever. His son recently graduated. He still has his nice home. He's still close with Irv & Blackchild, he still travels etc. And if ppl wanna be honest, 50 had alot of karma for how he did alot of ppl. I like Fif, but he lost his mansion, filed for bankruptcy, Game destroyed G Unit (and G Unit clothing dead, Olivia, Hot Rodd, Spider Loc, MOP flopped etc), he fell out with alot of his close friends like Floyd, Banks, etc he lives in a tiny condo now, Daphne was messing with Derulo & Diddy etc. Ppl be acting like Fif is perfect or never took an L but hes had a series of them over the years too.

"Young black and gifted but stuck at the bottom" He aint as young anymore, but he was certainly a gifted lyricist. No doubt. I mean.... FOUR. Four of his albums went platinum or mult-plat; because of what? Image? Nah, he was was gettin' air play. Even today I can't deny; Rule was a part of my soundtracks for some crazy good summers But then? It got more pop-like. Back and forth between thug and J-Lo - Then The FBI case? Then the 50 beef? Looking back? I dont think it was as much the beef between 50 and Rule, it was simply because 50 was critically on FIRE at the time it went down -By the time Ja dropped this? His best days were behind him. Like now. 50's best days? Seems like a generation ago. Oh yeah... cuz they were. Animal Ambition was turrible. Ja has the resume to speak for itself to warrant the comeback he desrves - and when I hear him speaking today? Sounds more like an adult. I look forward to a Ja Rule return - a real one. He's waiting for the right time. Smart.

50c weren't that big, je was just a best seller with that fake ass shooting story....when it comes to pure art, he's very far behind Ja Rule

Ppl saying the juggernauts of Rap took him out and I couldn't disagree more.A little agency called,FBI did him and Murder Inc in.They beat them as far as walking away with their freedom but it took them hundreds of millions of dollars to beat them in which they lost their label and momentum. If it were just Fif/Em Shady against them, trust, they would have been fine.Dude was charting way ahead of Fif and Em at the time.

Why FBI was after them?...i still play most of his hits till today

It was too little too late back then, years later still too little too late. The worst part is, that interview Ja gave talking about 'i took the high road' brother, you're in hip hop, there's no high road here.

On a good stereo system this track hit hard as f**k. Beat hard as a Dre beat, Dre had the talent that when you hear his Beats you think something is going to happen that's the mark of a good beat intimidating vibe other than bars but that's what the rap game is missing.
