On Sunday, September 10th, Steam Incorporated's Ja1271, assisted by Da1410 & Da1431, hauled a 16-total Excursion from Wellington to Carterton and return. The train was headed to the Daffodil Festival, which is held every year in Carterton and attracts around 10,000 people annually.
