Mohit, I would suggest you check Suzuki Vstrom 650XT, Honda CB 500X, and Honda CB 200X(which I think is not available in the US). I think BMW 310GS will not be that good and a little bit less reliable compared to Honda and Suzuki. Ride the Suzuki Vstrom 650XT and Honda CB 500X before finalizing to check which suits you better though I will give slightly high marks to Suzuki 650XT. In my opinion, Africa Twin will be too large and too tall. As Sandra also going to ride I would have suggested Honda CB 200X but first I think it will not be available in the USA and second, within a short time it might feel less powerful to you guys so it will be good if you choose a middleweight bike from the get-go but just be cautious at the beginning of the power of 500cc and above bikes I know you have Intruder in the past but still Sandra is also going to ride and you are also going to ride after a long time. Best wishes for the upcoming adventures.

Mohit sir, we've been facing rodent issues for past year in our car, we've tried all types of sprays and we also tried ultrasonic repellent but in the end no use as after some time they adapt to them and still enter our car. So we've installed stainless steel perforated sheet on all the entry points and it's been working great so far and no screws are required so it wont void your warranty.Please give it a thought
