That's Baale Bhai reciting the Marsiya in Majlis of Ashura in Azakhana Sughran, Mohalla Guzri, Amroha. Right after this is Hadees and then "Tazbeeh ki Ziarat". We didn't get to do any of this this year due to covid. Labbaik ya Hussain!

I am living in mandi bahauddin,punjab,pakistan. My ancestors migrated from samana, india. They recite this marsiya exactly this way. Amroha is thousands of mile from here but marsia costumes are same. Salam ya Hussain a.s

May be coz some Amrohvis who migrated to Pakistan for sometimes they maintained the originality which got popularity over there but new generation in Pakistan is damaging the real meaning of azadari many of them I see even on ten of Muharram wearing new and shining cloths on a decorated dais.

Yes. I also noticed this. But most of this kind of people are locals. They even could not understand what we are reciting. They could understand only punjabi zakirs.

This is the original and authentic version of Marsia which in India, Amroha, had been handed down to new generation with the humble form of costumes and the way of sitting on floor among general gathering unlike that of Pakistani version which seems to have been more commercial and imitated form that has got little to do with a real mourning.
