Once a blueprint has been decided, Gulati saab should have stuck to it and in case he has any better ideas that should be discussed before he starts implementing it . This is basic professionalism expected in such work. I am totally with Mohit and his concerns.. Hopefully in the future such communication lapses won’t occur . Its quite common for flight time to be different when flying across in different direction. Please remember plane doesn't fly in vacuum., trade winds . HEADWINDS OR TAILWIND!. if winds are stro ger flowing in forward direction meand tail of plane is strong to push plane forward. Same route if you are flying in different direction HEADWINDS can slow speed. This happens every time you fly across longitudinal lines , east to west or vice versa. You probaby take same time if you are flung NORTH TO SOUTH exactly same time zone. For example if you fly straight down Delhi Bangalore.
