He was actually pretty good when he got drafted to the NBA Tore his ACL 25 days into his NBA career , he won rookie of the month with in those 25 days... rehabilitated, came back his 3rd year and averaged 20ppg and tore the exact same ACL , for the 2nd time....bounced around team to team struggling to get his game back......the worst feeling for an athlete.

Before he had too many injuries he used to get hella steals, a lot of them on the ball, too. Probably would have been a more athletic Melo, who might not have had quite the same mid range game, but seemed more explosive around the rim. He was similar to Melo in that he followed misses around the paint and had great anticipation to clean them up and score on putbacks. He had some good games that i saw on the Kings and Celtics in those last couple years, too. I can't recall who took over as the Kings coach for a while before Mike Brown, but I remember whoever it was had Jabari glued to the bench as soon as he took over coaching the team, and Jabari had been playing well prior to that.
