how did you find the magnetic connection itself?? As in when you stuck it to your wall etc. has it been holding up no issues?? considering of placing it on my gutter for example (only magnetic surface) would that suffice you reckon??

It's motion triggered. 24/7 would drain the battery 🔋 in hours. Even my wired cams are motion triggered

I have been trying this camera for about a week, I’ve noticed the motion range does not have a good distance at all, a lot of times I’ll get an alert, when I go check it says no recording 🤦‍♀️ Very disappointing

a couple of questions.. this seems like a decent camera for my use.. wich is a very small area of detection and between 2-6 meters of distance.. thats what.. 6 to 18 feet in distance.. can you see a face from 10-12 feet and figure out who it is either in infrared or illuminated by the leds? it seems very washed out tbh.. and that batterylife.. there is no way it lasts for 300 days while detecting movement.. if you have movement for 1-3 minutes every day for 1 month, whats the toll on the battery? im perfectly happy with a camera that works for a week or three between charges.. but 10 months?! nah.. not buying that claim.

Just checked. I have 47 percent battery right now. Average is about 4-5 triggers a day. Very clear with good lighting

@@TheJabberTech what does a 'trigger' do in your case? still image or is it customizable? i would like it to film for 2 minutes every time it catches movement and if the movement is ongoing to not stop until 2 minutes after it stops.. and how long have you had the camera on? again.. id be perfectly happy with something that lasts a couple of weeks to 1 month..

Camera with hub is better as the recordings will be on hub. This has sd card slot on camera itself and if it gets stolen, you are doomed with no evidence.
