I don't know man... i have a theory where his kids are just pretending or acting to be that way: So i'd say that Jack's kids are just acting like they don't have much interest in what's happening, making deliberately a resemblance with today's kids; you don't see them with much enthusiasm in anything, and i remember one scene when Jack was singing BREAKING THE SPAAACETIME CONTINIUMM with 2 ipads and his younger son was just about to laugh and almost broke character but immediatly stopped and tried to mantain a serious face. I think that the point of this 'gaming channel' is show the contrary of what a gaming channel is, and show everyone that being out there playing with stuff and not only videogames is also fun, so Jack's kids would represent that part of today's younger generations that are not getting surprised easily (unlike kids in previous generations) and that doesn't have or show much interest in playing anything other than a console or pc game, or that are always connected to their smartphones, social media or the internet in general. Thank you if you read the whole thing! Also, they are Jack's kids, they are probably cool af already having a dad with such a cool personality to raise them.
