Skyrim is built on its melee combat and today we'll be putting that to the test by increasing my movement speed every time I get a kill in the game. The world of Skyrim is pretty huge in comparrison to the Fallout titles, so will this extra movement speed help us with travel? and will I be able to finish the game before I start moving too fast?

I know it's not good balance wise, but I wish the newer games let us have thus kind of power. Sure there's alchemy bugs in skyrim, but one shot weapons are only so fun. Let me male a spell that burns a whole room, including me, while also having full magicka absorb, so the spell recharges itself. Or let me jump over a whole town to my death. Fun stuff.

@@HeisBeppo I tend to use broken armor much more than broken weapons. In fact, on my latest playthrough I have the issue that tempering weapons makes them too strong. With maxed out smithing I'll get armor to like 1500, which is fine. But a 320 dmg sword just makes combat boring, so I'm actually considering resetting my smithing skill just to make it more engaging.

"I am speed" is actually a shout with three words of power, great to see it being utilized properly

Shock is the best, the least # of enemies have resistance to it, and being female gives you an advantage if you gain the ability "Agent of Dibella", (grants +10% damage to the opposite sex) since things like the dwarven automatons are coded as male, thus more NPCs are male, giving you a slight edge.

I always forget how nuts the game seems for throwing Imperial / Stormcloak choice at you right away. The Imperials were about to execute you, and one of the first ones you meet is called “Torturer”.

You can repeatedly run into the graybeards to skip dialogue that should help be less bored in the beginning (it works with all NPCs you just need to sprint into them and make them stagger)

​@@JuliusCaesar2005 no, it's absolutely not. I would know, because my ps4 both sucks and that's the only thing I have at the moment that will run Skyrim with a couple crashes every now and then. Of course mods do that too, but it still sucks. I'd love to quicksave/quickload because that would save so much time when I keep making new characters. Tl:dr, console sucks. Have a good day🏙

If you play Skyrim again with something like insane speed, you can skip everything after the first dragon by starting diplomatic immunity from jumping into the back of the thalmor emissary and grabbing the book about Esbern

10:30 - The reason why taking crops isn't marked as stealing because you can talk to one of the farmers and sell them the crops you've gathered. They give you like 2 septims per thing so it's better to steal them and make potions and soup.

Fun fact: Valdr's dagger is probably even worse than you'd expect since the "crits" that it does only adds 50% of its BASE damage, meaning it adds an additional 2.5 damage per swing. Talk about useful!!!

I'm currently doing a playthrough on the good ole 'Rim with about 800 mods installed that were painstakingly organized for a stable run. Good times for sure. Never did a playthrough with both Inigo and Lucien with the patches so they interact with one another until now. I quickly realized I had been missing out. Good stuff.

Every kill makes you faster, but what if 2 deaths within a minute or so of eachother halves your speed? I think that would be cool cuz imagine your at more than twice default speed, but died 3 or 4 times real quick n now its back to default or slower n workin back up from there

opinion: Skyrims main story is its weakest point. it seems cool, but slows way down, and the quests people end up liking are the faction and side quests. The environment, music, and fun gameplay are what make it so enjoyable.

You were right- the fallout 4 playthrough of this challenge *was* far too slow! Please do all the DLC's and then see if you're going too fast to complete the main questline. It seemed like you only ever got to a point where your speed was a benefit, and didn't round the corner to it being a detriment. Alternatively, you could have the speed go up 1% instead of simply 1 'point'. You'll eventually drift into an exponential curve if you're not playing carefully

There is once difference between fo4 and skyrim's survival modes. Skyrim's has a bunch of poorly made papyrus scripts running in the background and clogging up the game at all times. Even when survival mode is off.
