They should make an active 85t with the liquid silicone thing, ip57 and longer battery life. Would be pretty perfect

It seems they made it, and call it Elite 7 Active, but obviously when you add silicone thingy it becomes too isolated.

The only conflict I have with the is that the left is dependant on the right and that the fit is not the most comfortable at times. Other than that I love them so much. Oh yeah... also I don´t like that the right earbud runs out of battery faster than the left, which correlates with the first thing I mentioned.

Great review. I also bought the 75 hoping it would be a great fit. However, the right ear bud will get loose in my ear after I start sweating during my runs. It’s real distracting. And funny, cause it’s only the right side. Maybe ear size differs. Take care and have a good run!

I want to love my Jabra elite 75t actives, but I just can't recommend them to anyone. I bought a pair, used them for about 4 months, and then the left ear bud basically died. Warranty process was a mess. Eventually got a replacement pair. Same thing happened after 3-4 months. Warranty process was a mess again. Finally got a second replacement pair. They are starting to go out again. If you Google left earbud Jabra, this has apparently been a pretty common problem for years across multiple models. I've posted on their support forum about the issue and had the post deleted without response or reason. They are a fantastic product when they work, but there seems to be real quality control issues. Hopefully the Active 7s fix the issues.

I went through 3 different 75t just like you but I’m done with it now, the anker soundcore liberty pro 3 sound better but slightly less bass but everything else is superior you can hear individual instruments and the seinhiezer momentum 3 is better also I gave up on jabra.

Thanks for the review. I was wondering if there were earbuds that can work for more than 3-4h in canadian weather.. Because the last few months I've tried and failed to find suitable earbuds that work with humidity and cold (I'm in Montreal).... So far - Jaybird Vista 2: lots of interference drops and connectivity issues - returned - Powerbeats: couldn't handle -5c and sweat and would turn off after 30min - Aeropex: unfortunately, I ran a solo marathon effort and this second pair lasted barely 3h before turning off ... It was +5c and 90% humidity (light rain)

I didn’t realize the 85ts were used for exercise. The oval design of the ear tips seems bad for it. The noise isolation is also poor on them. The Elite 7s are better to stay in ears and the ANC on them is almost worthless because they have great natural noise isolation. The 75ts are like the Elite 7 but larger and have way more bass.
@johnprivat43792 жыл бұрын
If it's because of the fit is too tight to be able to hear the surroundings, could you PLEASE make Jabra elite 7 PRO review to see if this would work better for running and stuff? There has been so much confusion between Pro and Active because of how extremely similar it is. I don't think Pro 7 should have the same tight grip as Active 7 does but all the more reason we would like to hear this review from your perspective since you nailed it about Active 7 so well.
@affinitystablepeanuts2 жыл бұрын
Having had some of this line I must say that I don't get the active noise cancellation at all. Since 75t these plug in the ear so well, that the passive noise isolation is super amazing by itself. 75 were given ANC on/off option at some point in time via the magic of firmware upgrade, but there was never a need to enable it. At all. As to HearThrough: twisting one earbud slightly in on ear to make it plugged-but-not-really works WONDERS as a hear through :) Plus when talking to people, still take earbuds out, right? It's a courtesy. Like lifting your tall-hat when you meet someone back in the time :)

For running, I need hooks over the ears. There doesn't seem to be too many models available anymore, but I found the 'Anker Soundcore Spirit X2' a good solution. Also helps if I need to take them out to hear somebody, I can leave them hooked over the ear.

Great video, thank you. My only two criticisms is that almost all reviewers stated that the Transparency Mode was too strong, and compared to the Jabra 4, they appreciated the ability to tone them down. Other folks routinely stated that these were best in class sound, from top to bottom, especially the bass, comparable to the 75T and JBL Reflect Flow. Maybe an ear test would rule out range limitations from using earbuds so often? It's so common these days to lose your top and bottom of the range frequencies. Have a nice day.

My experience is that with the larger ear gels, the noise-cancelling and sound quality/bass is really good, however when running (or even walking) the footstep thudding is so loud that it's not worth having them in. With the smallest size ear gel, the fit is obviously less snug, but they still won't fall out, still have crisp sound (albeit with less bass) and the 'bone conduction' effect and thudding is completely gone. So a bit of a trade-off but worth it to avoid that thudding when running
