Jabra Elite 85T vs Jabra Elite 75T Best Call & Audio Quality?

So my opinion the jabra 75t sound better in both call and audio quality. The 75t have better bass. What do you guys think.

I went for the 75 elite actives for gym and outdoor rough wear, way better value and yes I think they sound better for this kind of use with the stronger bass and the IP57 rating. Shame Jabra didn’t pull of a major improvement in sound with the new drivers, maybe over time and updates they will.

Call quality sounds better on the 85T especially in a noisy environment.

Music initially was load and bass heavy in 85T, then 75T become louder. Did you change the volume in between?

Hi. I generally like your reviews, specifically because I find your preferences for audio quality fits my own, so thank you for constantly reviewing these new products for us. Just a little suggestion tho, if you're gonna do some audio quality comparison, it's better to play a section of a song while switching the devices you're comparing at the same time as we can get a more direct comparison. This is a great comparison. I prefer the audio quality of the 85t. I did A/B comparisons of each track several times on 2 different earphones and one set of speakers. The mids of the 85t sound more open, whereas the 75t sounds compressed and hollow in comparison. The high end of the 85t is much more extended, especially noticeable on the harmonics on the vocals and string instruments; the 75t sounds muffled relative to the 85t. The bass is not as prominent on the 85t but they have so much more vocal and harmonic detail. But it seems my preference is different than the majority. I agree with the other commenter re playing the same song back to back on both devices for easier comparison. Thank you!

0:38 vs 1:48 imo the 85t's doesn't sound as muffled as the 75t's. Also 1:15 vs 2:30 the 75t's pick up more of the background noise. However they both sound great. I've talked with customer service that has had a lot worse quality lol. I'm considering upgrading from the elite active 65t to the elite active 75t now that they are doing a discount on them in stores here in Norway. 😁

What do I think? If you've got the 75Ts you're still smiling. Plenty of kudos must go to Jabra for not leaving 75T owners out in the cold. They didn't have to give us ANC but they did.

The 75ts seems to have deeper bass which I love. But the vocals came through clearer on the 85ts.

I need a bit of help here from users and maybe from Jabra, my understanding is that each bud do have 2 microphones built in so there is 4 in total. But I have tested my Jabra 75t elite and clearly only right bud microphones worked when I made it bluetooth recording also I have tested with call and was the same. So this set was send back to Jabra as a warranty replacement and I have received brand new earbuds and for a surprise they do exactly the same only right bud records the audio.... Look clearly for this both earbuds in this video, when fan blows to the right bud you can clearly hear the noise but when it blows to the left bud there is no noise...??? So what is it do we have 4 mics or just 2 in the right bud??? Can someone help me with this. Thank you

Hey.. I'm a student who needs good ANC but also uses gym a lot. Also I walk on crowded streets and for running. Should I go with 85T or 75T? (Please ignore the spec sheet and i am focused on real life experience)

In my experience 75 t is hard to keep from falling out of a wet or even slightly greasy ear. I love them but not in an active context. One fell into my car door once. Don't ask how. But it took 2 months to find it.

Both seem to only pick up wind noise when the air hits the right earbud... not the left one... Only the right mics work for calls?

Since the left earbud connects to the right earbud in order to play sound etc. I could imagine that only the right earbuds mic actually picks up sound... would be pretty poor for Jabra to pull that off though.

Great review. I've had two pairs of 75Ts up until they both malfunctioned and wouldn't sync or charge properly - quality control issues? Upgraded them to the 85T and they leave the 75T in the dust for sound quality and voice call and mic quality.

85t has more clarity due to the new 12mm drivers. 75t has more bass, but you can easily get that with EQing the 85t.

85t sounds really flat to me.... like no depth. I'm listening using Bowers & Wilkins P7 bluetooth aptx headphones with EQ set to flat. 75t sound fuller to me.
