I have owned Jabra 75e for 10-months. I find the battery life to be very good, easily stays charged for the entire day at work and while returning home as well. I work in software sales so I am taking calls and attending online meetings using the ear bud headset. I find the transition from call on mobile phone while listening to music to be good without issue. The computer connection works well for music, but sometimes the audio become modulated on Zoom meetings and I need to discontinue using the headset. I estimate this happens 15% of the time. That is not good on a recorded presentation. I find that when I wear them to the gym on the rowing machine they don't always stay around my neck properly. I had to place a Velcro strap around the two ends and tighten the strap so the weight of the neck battery does not pull them off the back of my neck onto the floor. I row aggressively so the added Velcro has solved that issue. I row in the rain and they have not been impacted by poor weather. I wear them while performing yard work with my Honda mower. The noise cancelling works to cut about 30% of the sound, so I wear hearing protection to avoid having to turn the volume up too high an injuring my hearing. I also own the JBL LIVE 300tws ear buds and they are not nearly as good as Jabra 75e. The JBL LIVE 300tws only last 4-hours before recharging. Ear buds are easier to carry and don't draw much attention. The Jabra 75e does look like you are a geek walking around the street, but are great for the office. I also own the Apple Ear buds w/o noise cancellation and the Jabra is better than those for managing calls.

I've had a really bad experience with Plantronics. Their quality control and design with my Plantronics Voyager Focus UC left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

There's a mistake in your explanation of active noise cancelling that's available in both Elite 65 t and Evolve 75 e, versus 3-mic ambient noise cancellation that's only available in the Evolve 75 e of the two that allows for clearer voice to go through to the person at the other end of a phone call.

I'm searching for a great (reliable) bluetooth headset for calls/Teams/Zoom that'll work outdoors on the move (walking) and will handle background noise (traffic + wind; super importantly the wind!) well. I've tried LOADS of different headsets - with varying results - and have found the Plantronics Voyager 5200 to be the best at managing wind noise from and recipient caller standpoint but i've been through 3 of the headsets and find they're just too poorly made and break or are unreliable (drop connections etc.). I love Jabra hardware and use their Speak 510 for calls at my desk and Jabra 75t for general listening and use at the gym. The Evolve 75e seem to get a good write up but they're 3 years old now, do you know whether they've been updated more recently and so whether they stack up against the competition now still in 2021? Thanks for the great reviews btw!

Thank you for making this video. The sound from the microphone is at most bearable. I can make out your words but that´s it. The sound quality, as a voice reproduction, lets say for a job interview, is a disaster. You will not get the job! The person on the opposite side will be filled with adrenaline not knowing why. Thank you for the real life demonstration.

With you 100%. I expected more. The bose 700 had one of the best mics in headphones. So I was extremely disappointed given the 299 price. I did just fly out this week and the did fantastic on a plane ride. They crushed the buds 2 pro. Need to test against the airpods pro2

@@djkidas wow, I'm glad it's not just me! That sucks man. Some people say it's not about how loud they get but the sound quality. I say that's bullshit. I want both. I was hoping to pair it with a VoIP desk phone, my laptop & my cell phone, but I guess that wouldn't work too well if it will only pair to two items, eh? I guess I would need to figure out which one to do without. Everything else sounds about perfect, though.

I see you have test both Jabra 75e and Plantronics 6200 recently. How would you compare these two? Which is better in terms of noise cancelling mic? Which one do you recommend and why? I am trying to make a purchase decision between these two.

I working in a very noisy environment and it is important for the caller hear me quietly and clearly.
@ebpman6 жыл бұрын
Both do well with noise. For me the big difference is mic placement. The Jabra have traditional mic placement hanging from the ear piece. Plantronics is boomless. I like the boomless feature personally. Now if you want to use the headphone at the gym then the jabra is they way to go as its the only one with a IP rating against sweat.

EBPMAN Tech Reviews thank you for your reply. I working in a bar and the most important thing for me is cancelling the noise around me when I making phone calls. I want my voice sound clear and natural without any background noise. Which one do you think can handle this better? I already bought Plantronics 6200 three days ago and it is below my expectation. I am struggling should I return it and get Jabra 75e instead?

All managers got these to do meetings while in the car or on the go... they work ok. Whoever out of 5 managers 3 have had to turn these in for warranty due to defective wiring on one of the buds. That leads to loud clipping noises when moving. It is to be noted that none of the even use them at the gym nor have an active lifestyle. So we are looking at 200+ buds with the quality and life expectancy of 5 dollars buds. We are just waiting for the warranty to be void and these will start failing in less than a year

I use 2 phones and a computer. This headset supports one only, shame. Also it doesn't have more than a single area with microphones hence it does not compete with jabra evolve 75 or evolve 65 or 40 for that matter.

Not impressed by the mic quality. It's bandwith looks captured, not sure if it's the compressed recording or the headset itself, but have heard better microphone quality with e.g. Sennheiser DECT headsets. So, this is a reason not to buy these ones.
