What do you think about using devices in the car while driving as a hands-free kit? My main concern is picking up noise from a moving vehicle.

This is a great question. Many cars today have built-in Bluetooth hands-free audio. For cars that do not, I like using the Shokz Opencomm2 UC bone conduction headset. It has a solid performing noise-canceling microphone and leaves your ears open to hear your surroundings. Hi, the audio of my jabra speak 2 55 with macbook pro is awful if connected via bluetooth, definetly better if connect via USB. In your video is oudns good with direct BT connection: i just created a standard mac/jabra connection, Did you experience the same thing as well? Any idea why in my case it sounds so bad via Bluetooth? If connected via Bluetooth to my iPhone, it sounds good!

Hi Michele! I now have a Macbook as well as a Windows laptop so I can test devices in those environments as I heard, and now experienced differences. I'm in my home office now. I can't remember if I have Speak2 55 here. I do have a Speak2 75 that I can test to hear if there is difference. I typically connect using the Jabra Link 380 dongle as per Jabra's recommendation. However I will test via direct pairing. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel!

@@CallOneIncthank you! i do not have the 380 dongle, the Jabra customer care offers me this solution after the purchase (in the official JB website it's not recommend to use this dongle). But i do not want to pay an extra +100€ for a thing that u shoud be aware before the purchase. Anyway, i found that the audio quality is good if you choose as source input the macbook mic. If you leave the JB as input for in/out audio the quality decrease dramatically. This is due to the BT protocol itself. It happens also with the airpods pro 2. But please check it. Thank you!

I haven't tested the Emeet M2 Max. It looks interesting. I'll see if I decide to crack open the wallet to buy one to test and compare. A primary difference is certification. The Jabra Speak2 75 is certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. The Emeet M2 Max, based on information I viewed, is compatible but not certified. This is relevant for organizations who have standardized on those platforms and require certified devices. Appreciate you watching and your request. I'll add it to the list!

As commented elsewhere, charming and compelling review of the Jabra Speak 2. Thank you. I wonder why they have left the cable head hanging out, especially a USB-A connector that appears to be permanently dangling from the USB-C cable. Is it possible to slide it out? Considering it's a Bluetooth device, I'm left wondering why the cable remains so conspicuously visible, almost as if consistently prompting you to use it. Is the Bluetooth connection really that unreliable? 5.1 in 5.3 times? Please correct me if I'm mistaken, but I fail to discern a single advantage of having the cable perpetually attached to the device. This notion appears to be so unfavorable that the dangling cable head is noticeably absent from their advertisements and most of the reviews I've come across. What if the cable becomes damaged? Given that it's a cable that's repeatedly connected and disconnected, much like a rabbit, it's susceptible to wear and tear. Could you shed some light on this matter?
