I’d be more into them if they were licensed. As of now I wouldn’t pay $500 for a box, but that’s just me. Also, the whole cleat thing just isn’t for me either… too thick. I genuinely hope the person that bought it likes what he hit as I would want the same. The Soto is really nice!

Panini won’t have any baseball cards this year. Fanatics/Topps is the only ones allowed to do baseball this year and presumably the future years until their contract comes up again. Personally I hate this exclusive license nonsense.

Excuse my ignorance, but why is there any interest in non official licensed cards? I've never understood it. It's like Madden on N64 when they didn't get the NFL license. They had an the colors of the teams but no logos or team names. IMO it really is a lesser product.

I see some of these recent high end products and they are a real disappointment for the most part. A box of unlicensed cards selling for $2000 is amazing. In other high end products the patch and swatch cards won't be associated with an event or there will be an auto of some fringe player that might sell for $20. Is this the best these companies are willing to put out for $1000 or $2000 per box like this? Their profit must be through the roof.

Flawless FOTL always has three cards in the case but for regular flawless if there’s a third card in the case it’s always a cleat. They don’t fit in the small box so it’s put in the case. Not an extra card. Awesome card though. Too bad it was Tork and not Witt or JRod! Still cool though!
