Interesting stat they mentioned on the broadcast: When Strasburg made his debut vs Pittsburgh, McCutcheon was the lead off batter that day against him. Today, he was the lead off batter for Skeenes. Kid pitched well, final line doesn't look as good with the two inherited runners who scored. He only pitched 27 innings across seven starts for Indianapolis (less than 4 IP/start) so no way he was going 6+ with it being his debut and pitch count. He's going to be a good one though for a long time!

True, but as we know if he puts them on and they let them in he gets the higher era. Still threw a ton of 100 mph pitches so the excitement will still be there
