I was thinking about this yesterday and for a lot of us gray beards when we collected in the 80’s and 90’s the cards were crap. Now people can get cards of their guys in parallels and such like they couldn’t back then. Archives and Heritage always sell quite well for me, and complete parallel sets go for big $!

So I got 4 blaster boxes and only one had the 4 black parallels. One box only had 2 and the other two only had 3. I guess Topps doesn’t know how to count to 4? On top of that the QC sucks just as much as the hobby boxes. No numbered cards or autos in my 4 boxes. Pretty poor.

My only luck at getting a pirates autograph came last night out of 24 archives hobby and the first pack had a Endy Rodríguez green foil 1968 fans favorite auto /99 pulled but how good is he Jabs your the resident pirates guy here not to familiar with him

He has decent power, walls a lot and plays great defense. He could be a top 10-15 catcher in a few years. But he needs to make more consistent contact. He batted around .300 in the minors, but so far he’s struggling to make consistent contact in MLB. If he remembers how to hit, he could be an all star in the future.
