Good acting, good costume and make up. But was boring. Just take away all the pre release interviews and promotions and even the book you might have read. And then watch it. Kerala people are know the story and the book. ,so are emotionally attached to it. Take all this away and watch. then this movie doesnt do justice .

Respectfully, this duo wasn't the right choice for this masterpiece of a movie, an adaptation of a novel based on a true story, shedding light into the troubles and nightmares a common man has to endure, shown through the eyes of the director, Blessy from his sheer will and persistence through 16 years of his life. Someone of Jaby's and Achara's experience should've reacted to this one. ❤

Brother, the actor who performed the role of najeeb , one and only Prithviraj Sukumaran dedicated his long 16 years for the making of the film. And the transformation he made in the film is without any visual effects.. He drastically tranformed from 98kg to 63kg literally Killing himself for this movie.. that's his dedication level we should show some respect to.. Moreover this is not Just a story this a real life story and the najeeb still exist There is a documentary in KZbin where the reel najeeb(Prithvi) interviewing the real najeeb.. also do watch it 🤍

I am sorry but WTH. This movie was based on the real life story of a man who was trafficked and forced to work in a desert in another country with no human to talk to nor be treated like one and struggled to live for years with the sheer faith in his god to be let free and be back to his homeland( i am not a believer but shukoor(najeeb)himself admitted that the only reason he didn't commit suicide was because it was a sin in his religion, mad respect to the man). There were thousands of najeebs who were forced to be in the same situation and the movie brought light to the unseen side of the life of a pravasi.this movie also led to the huge collection of donation to save the life of a man who was prisoned in the saudi arabia jail by a false change of murder.with 2 days left to his death sentence, he was free of charges.reports says that he will be joining his family in a few days( its been months) For such a phenomenal movie which took more than 16 years to shoot and release (most of the scenes in the desert are real,very few vfx is used),the movie being only shot in a specific period of summer each year.Absolutely no effort to research or just google it. It was a huge disrespect. The laughing and Snickering made me sick. Worst reaction ever

I think this reaction may be an example of how folks are conditioned differently. I think these two were a little baffled by a movie about modern-day slavery of an Indian man; their immediate reaction was - why doesn’t he just escape. Whereas had this movie been about the African Khadiri character getting enslaved, it resembles an illustration of slavery that Americans are far more familiar with. They probably would have reacted with far more sympathy and seriousness. I’m not holding it against them. I still found the reaction interesting.

Guys, "Goat Life" is a deeply emotional film based on real events, and it's very significant to us because many families have had similar experiences in their lives, and some of us have even lost our loved ones in those incidents. The director,actors and other crew member's dedicated about 16 years to create such a masterpiece. Unfortunately, you guys treated it like a funny movie, which felt very disrespectful and upsetting to many of us. We really admire your channel, but this reaction was disappointing. This movie really hit the spot for us Indians cause we have families who are expats in many Arab counties and it's not fun , this movie was based on a novel written by benyamin and it's the real life story of najeeb which is portraited by prithviraj here(lead character) , this movie made us all tear up when it hits the theaters , maybe cause we can relate to it more , additionally all these shots are original not vfx , they spend 16 years including the corona to make it perfect and to live through atleast a part of what najeeb would have endured there , please react to it accordingly, there is a saying in this movie towards the end that "lives that we never experienced are just stories for us" additionally their transformation is remarkable, the lead had to be on extreme diets to look like that it's not so simple as u see , so a little more empathy and appreciation would be nice .
