Yes Achara, Kerala has a lot of Christians. But it doesn't matter, every festivals are celebrated together here. At Christmas, everyone stays at home with family, cake cutting, putting star infront of houses, carols. At eid, people buy some non-veg items and celebrate it like that. At onam everyone have" sadhya", with family, playing onam games, wearing traditional outfits. All these irrespective of religion.

Just informing.. Since you guys looked unaware and wanting to know, in India christianity is the third largest religion followed, you can see majority of Christian schools in the cities. Whereas Christmas festival is very popularly celebrated throughout the entire country and also by the families following other religion too.. There are family gathering, everyone decorates Christmas trees etc. Advisable to please do visit Goa or pondicherry ( currently puducheri), in Kolkata the streets are decorated during this festive season. The states having max Christian population are Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal pradesh, Kerala, Meghalaya, Manipur, Goa.

@RK most in kerela we’re not Hindus as most of the Christian’s in Kerala are syro-Malabar Christian’s and orthodox. Most are descendants from migrants from the Middle East and some were converted from the Jews that were already in Kerala. The Hindus that were converted were by the British and Portuguese. But they aren’t the majority of Christians in Kerala. They are the minority. Stop spreading false information.
