The ticket thingie is from weighing machine. These things used to be very common in train stations and carnivals before but now u barely see them. It might say that this movie is in retro setup. These tickets usually come with ur weight (obviously), sometimes some future prediction, some quote like those fortune cookies and maybe a picture of some celebrity who matches u according to it. Tamil version had picture of Kamal Hassan at his young age and in Hindi, it was Rajesh Khanna. Both are superstars but these are from 70-80s. So, I can safely say this movie is based on 70s or 80s Storywise not sure but I can make an educated guess. It feels like a recreation of some crime Vijay did (probably his ex wife) in the form of Katrina who might be taking revenge by replaying what happened before. He might have murdered his wife already. Just a speculation but seems quite possible

I think it might be the other way around. I think she will get killed or disappear half through the film and then come back to haunt him in some way (not as a ghost but as a consequence). He might be the protagonist and perhaps a bit of an anti-hero. But, going by Andhadhun, I don't think we should expect either of the leads to be an innocent character. In any case, he is the better actor and it would seem like a waste of a good actor to sideline him in favour of an expressionless Katrina.
