Please don't compare with baahubali, all the characters in that film was given equal and powerful role with prabhas. You don't have to only hype prabhas just because he is a hero, think from a character side. I am a huge fan of prabhas but highly disappointed after salaar, if you see detailly we really don't know what does khansaar do or happening there. It's either France alike structures and a slum. Why does anyone want khaansaar? Because of the worth? Money? Political hype? In KGF there is only one thing evident. It's Gold and Yash goes inside to kill the head but instead saves everyone and then become a king of KGF. What a detailing. He just Remade Ugram with a world like this. Come onnn, you could have come up with a good ass script other than this right? You've had 400cr+ budget. And Sruthi Hassan is a waste of role and that dinosaur uncle is what?? Yes KGF was extraordinary and this is not a modern time baahubali. Please do re-watch again to know the importance of that film.

To be honest i liked it more than KGF s, some might disagree Salaar shows world building ability n detailing better N Salaar is less talking n more action, whereas it's more dailouge battles in KGF n just elevations after elevations with excellent BGM ,almost no story, but everything syncs well in Salaar , BGM story, elevations minute paybacks along with excellent world building n to Prabhas aswell , lil dialogues n more action fits perfect

And by the way, Salaar only collected higher than Dunki in Southern India (mainly AP & Telengana). In Overseas collection Dunki earned 60 Cr more and in Northern India Dunki earned 80 Cr more.

He's a medium actor, it was Rajamouli who utilized the maximum potential of Prabhas in bahubali. If it would have been prabhas fanbase, then his recent films wouldn't have been flopped. Saaho average, Radhe shyam over 130cr+ loss, Adipurush over 270cr+ loss, Salaar average as moviewise. Best prabahs movies include Bahubali, Chatrapthi, Mirchi.Being such a big name you should really look to deliver something good to your audience instead collecting 100crs paychecks,it's the responsibility of actors. It doesn't even matter that what the film collects on day 1 but it's about being good. Even I don't like srk but still his film pathan and jawan. @@CinePhile_Girl_Mahira "He is a moderate actor" is your opinion and not a generic statement. Box office wise he is still the biggest star India has produced. The term superstar only applies when the movie is bad but it's only running because of the actor. This happened in Saaho and Adipurush. The WOM for both films were horrible but still movies grosses around 450crore each. Yeah they were average and flops but we still have to see that 99% of A list actors in all the industries combined doesn't have 450crore gross worldwide irrespective of the budget. The true potential of a superstar can be measured only from his flops. Coz flop movie collections mean the audience are coming in only for the star. He definitely has the potential to fill the theatres. Irrespective of last 3 flops, Salaar opened huge and went on to become superhit with mixed reviews. Coming to Radheshyam, this film was a bad decision, not in terms of story but in terms of the budget. They went way over budget and the movie released just after pandemic. It still opened the biggest post pandemic. Stars can only give you the opening and he did that there as well. Hence, even though Radheshyam was a disaster, I think it won't be wrong to say that Prabhas played his part. Arguing on Adipurush, it is clear that his fees meant for him as he gave the whole remuneration to his friends production house UV coz of the losses in Radheshyam. He had to do it to protect the production house from falling as they were fairly new and the loss in RS was immense. Lastly, actors ain't gods. They might make a wrong movie choice sometimes. Some will be success and some failures. Lets not play Gods and be humans.

The director seems to have discovered slow motion shots cause the amount of slow mo shots in this movie is ridiculous. If you remove all of them you don't need a part 2 for this movie, the whole thing can finish in 3 hours. The setting and colour scheme is very similar to KGF, so nothing new or creative, the story itself was very poorly written, makes you wonder how the actors actually signed up to it. The amount of holes in the plot is laughable, a secret city that people have heard of but can't confirm it exists, but it has a seal that everyone knows? How does that even work? They also have entire armies living in the city, is the city the size of a country? There is a whole suburb where only women live, where did all the men go? No explanation is given as to how this happened. The lead characters friend brings him in as his own army, just one person who he has not seen for 25 years, doesn't know his condition or what he is doing but expects him to fight armies, you would think this guy was superman. If this is how indian movies are going to be going forward, it is a sad state of affairs for the industry.
