She has a nice voice, but no, there are many many better singers. If you asked her, she would say the same. It's just that she sings with real feeling and picks "torch songs", but she is no match for say, Jennifer Hudson and a few just like her in ability. Don't get me wrong, the Idol judges shamed themselves, not Mara when they called her "top 10" and then took her off the show. When she did not get enough votes to make the top 14, they said they could not imagine why--yet, failed to "save her". I don't get the judges this year.
