My 12 year old daughter and I both have suffered through Bartonella due to a car scratch. Horrible headaches, very large, swollen and painful lymph nodes in the neck and fatigue. My daughter is much better. I took her to the Dr for what looked like an absess on her eyelid. Turns out it was actually where she was scratched by one of our new kittens (we had 6 cats at the time, 3 of them being newborn kittens). I am still fairly sick. Our Physician was not educated about Bartonella so she spoke with a pediatric infectious disease specialist after a full round of Clindamycin, a very strong antibiotic. The specialist sent in a script for Doxycycline and that did the trick. I just started the same medication and am praying for some relief soon. Bartonella is such an unknown disease and it’s nice to know we are not the only ones who suffer from this.

So sorry to hear of your family's struggles but it sounds like you got onto therapy pretty quickly, which I think can make the healing process a little easier. Chronic bartonellosis is not recognized by mainstream medicine and is so difficult to treat for many reasons but there is hope!

Ahhh wow! Jack's story is heart touching, what a journey, and he looks so healthy and happy now, so great to see! :) I have been dealing with, undiagnosable health symptoms since I was a child, and I was also scratched by a stray cat, at age 6, bit by a dog, etc. it feels sooo likely that I have been dealing with this Bartonella H. bacteria, I am so grateful to finally be getting some answers, thank you god! I am wondering, if you know of any specialist doctors on the West Coast, that would be good to go and see to assist me in diagnosing this, I know diagnoses and testing can be quite challenging at times, does anyone know of a good doctor on the West Coast? I am in CA. Thank you all so much, Visualizing healing for all of us, and around this issue!

Hi bart babe! Looking good keep up the good work 😉thanks for putting these vidz out. I just found out i have Bartonella, im not the biggest fan of antibiotics but i know they might be Necessary for something like this but I would like to try the natural route first. Do you know what would be the strongest herbs to tackle this? Im heading to LymeStop next week if that don’t work im going to try the herbs then if neither of those plans work out i plan on hitting it hard with the antibiotics. Whitch are the strongest for this infection?
@BartonellaBabe4 жыл бұрын
I'm no expert on herbs but lots of people try Buhner's herbs or some modification of his protocol. I guess I would say I hear the most about Japanese Knotweed and Sida Acuta. Dr. M is also using Allimed (allicin extract from garlic) with success in some patients. As far as antibiotics go, I plan on doing what Jack did in this video, which is Dr. M's protocol. If you want to hear more about other people's experiences with herbs, I suggest you join our Breaking Down Bartonella Facebook group

Hi Susan. I would say most people with bartonellosis don't end up needing a wheelchair unless pain or fatigue is so bad that they can't walk

He did actually use a wheelchair, just not at school. That's what he meant by that in the context of that statement. He was homebound from school while he needed the wheelchair which is why he didn't actually use it at school. Not everyone with Bartonellosis needs a wheelchair, for sure.

People really need to be more aware of the diseases cats can spread. I’m pretty sure I got Bartonella when I was a kid from a kitten that we adopted from the barn where my horse was boarded. It’s caused a lifetime of problems for me. If I could go back in time, I would have never adopted that cat. She was very high strung and scratched me very aggressively all the time. Eventually my mom had to give her away. If I had known about bartonella, toxoplasma, etc I would have left that kitten in the barn. Definitely not worth it.

Never mind all the research I do and the fact that I'm still very sick. I politely defended myself and he then blocked me from the group. Then I made my own group and Amy came along and so did Kathleen. He has been very rude to all of us, which does a disservice to people in his group. I never particularly wanted to have to make my own group but it has turned out for the better. Our group is focused on the science 😊 ahhhh Facebook drama!
