Thank you for giving us these dates, whether we (sort of) knew them, or not. By doing so, you are paying proper respect to their lives.

George broke down giving Benny's eulogy and Bob Hope had to finish it. RIP to these two and I'm so thankful they're in reruns on "Antenna tv."

How can there possibly be 7 dislikes on this? These people obviously don't appreciate something that is seriously lacking in the entertainment industry today......TALENT!!!!!

LOL, you're probably right about that. And I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if my Aunt Ann was one of them.

They were supposed to be in The Sunshine Boys together, but unfortunately Jack died before filming and Walter Matthau took his place (and he was great also)
@ralmcg4 жыл бұрын
Walter Matthau didn't take Jack Benny's place. It was George Burns who replaced Jack Benny because Benny got sick with a disease (I don't have the exact name of the disease.) that would eventually kill him.
@stevefriedmanphoto4 жыл бұрын
@@ralmcg As I recall, Red Skelton was originally cast to play the role that went to Walter Matthau. Skelton balked at the language at the "Smith & Dale" sketch at the end - putz comes to mind - and the bawdy sequences with the nurse. It did work out. It's a priceless film.
