@Barry Jones Its one thing coasting and winning rds clearly its another giving up rds vs "older version..." Linares, Caterrall decisively lost 6,9,10 and left 11,12,2 close

Ppl forget Catterall vs Linares was relatively close on the scorecards and the rds Linares won were tough to argue against imo

It’s great that this is back to being a regular pod, it’s an award winner for a reason 🙌

I've been telling people in America about Junaid since I saw him on Bam vs Sunny card. Great young fighter. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders. it appears to me that sometimes he gets bored in fights which leads to being distracted. I want to see him mature and stay focused. He's got all the tools and athleticism. Kind of reminds me of Ben. I'm rooting for him to be a future champ 🏆🥊

Jack won but the scorecards were disgraceful. Some of the worst I've ever seen. Regis never had a chance to get a decision

Good point... Hearn usually complains about wide scorecards and so does everyone else these days...thought it was more a 115-113 kinda fight (I know that doesn't add up with the knockdowns lol).

@@rickisunak After the stink he made about Bivol losing 8-4 on one card instead of 7-5 (literally a one round difference) it's sad to see how nobody complained as it wasn't the home fighter that got shafted. Americans complain about UK judges and it's fair enough that they do, absolutely corrupt.

@@chrisungoed8793 yep agreed (although there's bad judging everywhere!).

For McCormack he should be looking at 3 (ideally 4) fights in 2025. Personally I like the idea of it being Ekow Essuman and Conah Walker (in no particular order), then a really big one against the Donovan-Crocker winner. Matchroom need to build McCormack in the North East as well, that’s a part of the country that really get behind their fighters and shift tickets.

Another excellent episode lads. Bunce, Jones and partners actually had me laughing out loud. The winner of Paro v Hutchins seems the likeliest next opponent for Catterall.

I think pros competing in the amateurs hasn’t been a huge issue like Andy says at 9:10. But Jalolov is the exception, the fact he turned pro and then came back and obliterated Richie Torrez was a disgrace and should never have been allowed.

I thought Regis was done but clearly he can still be in some good fights if he is matched properly - would love to see Matchroom keep him on and get him some good scraps at 147 (no movers). Proper fighter and man. Thought Hatton showed a lot of heart too and those cards for Catterall were extremely wide, thought it was quite close.

Regis openly admitted he is done. Mentioned going into bare knuckle but I can't see that going well for him. Just retire mate

Jacks a good boxer but his biggest wins are against apparently shot fighters , nobody thinks Taylor still had it anymore , Linares an old man well out his division and Regis looking similar to Josh in that his best was several years ago
