Jack was always pretty savvy but in the early days he didn't look anything like the player he would become. I think we're lucky that Don Revie saw that potential and from then on Jack just got better and better. Then he goes on to manage and all that experience on the pitch gets supplemented by some brilliant man management. He's probably up there now with his fishing rods and a copy of the racing post waiting for the football results to come in. RIP Jack.
