Not sure how his fight with hafez was ruled a split decision. JDM was super precise.

I love Jack but he was getting caught. He brawled a bit too much in that fight and wasnt using distance management

Because the judges are stupid, Hafez won round 1 I’ll give him that, but it was all JDM in the last two rounds, JDM beat him so bad in rd 3 I actually have no idea how Hafez remained conscious after that.

@@reigns1902he cut weight twice in 7 days his brain/decision making wasn’t at his peak. Hats off to Hafez those some of those punches would have slept Ian Garry no doubt about it🤣

Jack has beautiful shot selection and fighter instincts. Works the body, great technique on his punches with full structure behind them. 4:46 some nick diaz shit baby

If jack incorporated more leg kicks and body kicks obviously he could impose his striking more effectively

The boxing heavy fighters doesn't do that much in fight , because these fighters stand somewhat square , so if they go for more leg kicks and body kicks , it affects their balance . For body kicks wonderboy stance is excellent . And if notice , JDM and Topuria stand a bit heavy on lead leg, unlike Alex Pereira who stands bit heavy on back leg which gives better edge in leg kicks.

@@ii_Aaron21 You obviously don’t know what you’re watching if you think Della loses to Neal… Jack’s boxing/defense is more superior than Neal’s and anyone in the welterweight division. Ian was terrified to strike with MVP and turned into a wrestler. Della basically ended Burns career while Garry’s going to split decisions…😂 Btw if Song Kenan can drop Ian Garry mid combo imagine what JDM would do to him. I truly believe you either haven’t seen him fight or just don’t know what you’re watching…

I wish the vid showed his submission escapes, they are absurdly good. In his DWCS debut Maddalena is in an arm triangle, which was decently tight, and Loosa was en route to swinging his hips around, and if you don't really know how arm triangles work, once the hips go around its game over, and then Maddalena just bridged and stood up in less than a second.

JDM is dope, love his fight style. If theres one thing I would like to see him work on it would be to keep his fights on the feet more, sometimes he allows guys like Hafez to muck it up on the ground when hes dominating them on the feet. Even that first fight on these highlights he shot for a takedown when he was piecing the dude up. Excited to see this guy keep getting better, hes a beast
