Here is rare footage taken from a Capital OTB call-in show called "OTB Live". Greg Giorgio (still at Capital OTB today) interviews Jack E. Lee about his new occupation as announcer for Suffolk (Parr) Meadows Quarter Horse track, and the differences between Quarter Horse racing and the other forms of horse racing.

Jack Lee was a legend but more distinct than great. Half-mile harness is very easy to call.

Jack E. Lee was the best. I used to listen to him call Freehold, and he would crack me and my Pop up with his "It's Jackie Mo and that's all ya need to know!"or his "but not today!" and "so and so is in the back of the pack...and he can see em all!" Loved this dude! Also I think Jack E. Lee and Al Pacino were separated at birth.

No doubt. He had a nickname for every driver at the track.I got to know him well when I worked at the track in the 80's and 90's. He truly was a stand up guy and the best announcer I've ever heard.

I got to know Jack well back in the early 90's when I was employed at freehold raceway. A fine man and the very best in the booth.
