Dan said it was other projects he wanted to pursue. It was other acting opportunities. Also, Daniel is married in real life. Erin has a boyfriend Ben (Mike Hickam on WCTH) Dan & Erin are just friends & actors. The relationship it's not real.

This is so beautiful, I cried when I watched, because it should be real, not a make believe wedding, they can deny all they want, but their feelings for each other is more than a great friendship, and when they admit it, I hope it's not to late to do something about it.

I think that is his reason for leaving. it was getting too close and she wasnt his to have as she is involved in a long term relationship already. to us, the fans, they will be married as jack and elizabeth, but thats all. has anyone seen dan in anything other then a hallmark movie? no. so he cut the cord. he is now afloat on his own. i hope they do bring in another new face as a love interest for liz. and i hope the writers take their time with the romance just as they did with liz and jack. but there are other characters who have stories to tell. bill and nora need to finish their story. bring back the preacher for lori loflins character. oh if only we as the fans could write the screen plays for this series. possible spinoff. rumors are flying.

You might know as this post you wrote was several years ago. Daniel Lissing has done a few movies on the network, Great American Family. So, you can see Dan in those movies. Dan & Erin will have a Christmas movie 🎅 🎄 for the network, Hallmark in either Nov or Dec 2024. Hope this helps.

Originally Dan was on a show on CBS or one of the other bigger networks after he left, WCTH. I think that bigger network was why he left, WCTH. He was hoping to make it big. Unfortunately, the role was short lived & his character didn't become a regular. I can't remember the name of the show or I would tell you that. So, he works for Great American Family & Hallmark now too.
