Terribly underrated. Should get same recognition as HTTYD or Shrek or The Bad guys. Jack has to be the strongest Guardian.

Agreed, I found it a shame that there was only one movie, I watched it many times, but I would've like to see more of Jack and the guardians. There are many parts of Shreck and HTTYD even has a series, if Jack could just get a series or a sequel too. I thought about some story ideas in my head myself, I hat this concept realising that Jack only seem to appear where winter currently is and imagined a character who likes to have fun like Jack but is the opposite by creating heats and droughts, but is same as fun as him and they make spring and autumn together. Also fans have shipped Elsa and Jack for long time, imagine the sequel would build up to that long fan ship.

I think the reason why Jack’s powers weren’t affected by children’s lack of belief in him was because he hadn’t accepted his role as a guardian. It’s like Pitch said: “It's great being a Guardian. But there's a catch: if enough kids stop believing, everything your friends protect-wonder, hopes, and dreams-it all goes away. And little by little, so do they.” Now that he’s accepted that he’s a guardian, I think he might start to experience some dependent factors in his magical abilities.

If someone might be interested on why jack was so powerful my theory is that the guardians/spirits/deities are powered by the purposes they are born and live from: Man in the moon: Discovery Tooth fairy and Easter bunny: recollection and exploring Santa: Charity But jack and sandy were born from protection (dreams and family) explaining why these two are so powerful, their whole purpose is being the spear and shield, sadly jack is still very young and immature so he can only access the power on stress mostly because he lacked a natural enemy that pushed him has a protector unlike the sandman who may had to fight almost every day of the week the two being protectors is also probably why they hit it off so well so soon and why jack is so hurt whenever he fails to protect.

I think it was due to the box office. With the other movies out in theaters at the time, it didn’t stand a chance. Seems like a lot of Dreamworks underrated movies are either left without sequels or get made into spinoff trash like Spirit and Megamind. 😭 I only pray if there is ever a comeback for ROTG that it doesn’t get made like that, it has so much potential.

The good thing about Jack Frost is if you think about it at the beginning of the movie, when the Arthur guardians still have all their believers, they should actually be stronger than Jack Frost is with zero believers. In fact, they're stronger than the boogeyman is at the beginning of the movie and he knows this not only does he steal sandman's power in order to spread more fear and gain more power. But he also targets the guardians sources of faith in order to reduce their believers and weaken them. So he only directly starts confronting them after he's sufficiently weakened them and gained in power himself. So at the beginning of the movie, Jack Frost should probably be the weakest guy by being the strongest at the end of the movie because the weakening wouldn't work on Jack Frost cuz he doesn't have any believers to lose, but his power stays consistent throughout the entire movie. Hell it even surprises him in some instances when he realises he's a lot more powerful than even he realises

@stephaniepage4334 guys too? Tho they didn't show any marriage in the flashbacks, they only showed him playing with his sister and it doesn't seem like he got father yet. Well to be fair, he does spend a lot of time with children.
