It is mind-blowing! I found out about this guy a week ago and I can't stop watching his videos. I don't typically listen to this genre of music. I'm mostly into Blues, Classic Rock, Jazz and old Country. This dude seamlessly blends old and new technology, has apparently mastered a few instruments, and can sing. I haven't been this excited about hearing a new musician in almost 20 years!

Honestly hands down the best person I've ever seen perform live, his synth stopped working in a show out in Webster hall and he played it off so well it's as if it was intentional, he ran to the drum set and gave us this killer improv solo and it was just bliss. One of the most talented performers in the business. The people disliking are the same ones that have a playlist full of over produced, synthesized to death candy pop/rock. It seems a blueprint has been created to be a lead singer and because Jack Garrett doesn't fit into that mold, he catches hate for it. When Queen first released Bohemian Rhapsody the critics and some fans destroyed them over it. Now try and find jukebox or better yet a top 50 greatest songs over the last 50 years without Rhapsody on it. The ones that choose to take risks, innovate and create something new and different open themselves up to unfair backlash and criticism mainly because there is a large number of us as a species that have had the fear of new things embedded in our DNA.

Honestly I am someone who prefers a full band rather than one man band. I feel the chemistry made by two or more people is more interesting than listening to one man playing everything. This guy is an exception.
