I have always loved Jack Greene. I listen to him now and it is so bittersweet. The good ones are slowly leaving us. Thank God for Country Family Reunion. And the ones who post these on you tube. Soon country music as we know it will be gone.

I love to revisit these wonderful videos. I’m thinking there should be over 90,000 thumbs up 👍 just for the sheer beauty and courage of these two great Entertainers ! Jeannie did such a wonderful job helping her friend Jack out. There’s another couple of videos I recommend of them singing around the same time in 2011. One is Waltz across Texas and the other is All the Time.

Love and appreciate every performance of Jack that was videotaped. His singing only got better with age. Amazing what he belted out in his older years never wavered. My number one artist.

My Dad and his companion met Mr. Greene at one of his concerts years ago my Dad was in his 60s and his companion was in her 60s as well and she was leagally blind and she could barely walk my Dad took care of her every need for over 20 years. Mr. Greene took time out after the concert to kneel and talk with my Dad and his companion ( Barbara) awww what a Great Man!! My Dad and Barbara though the world of him for taking time out of his buzy schedule to spend a few minutes to chat with them. What a awsome performer!! I just rewatched this. You're comment is spot on. The transition happens between the two songs. He is a struggling old man though the first one, then just transforms and for Statue of a Fool he is a boss. My song, my stage, gonna belt this out. Truly remarkable.
