Jack Hughes 2021-22 Highlights

As Devils fan here in the land of the Broad Street Pussies since our first season in 82, I fell in love with hockey because if the Big Red Machine (CCCP) & The Red Army (CSKA). I was a goalie for 17 yrs (I am a transgurl now). I always dreamed of my beloved NJD having two type of players: A magical playmaker like Igor Larionov and a great Russian goalie. Sadly we blew the chance for the goalie when we passed up drafting the amazing Yaroslavl Askarov in 2020. However we did get that Larionov type center in Jack. OMG, I cannot stress how much I love this kid. I suffer from MAJOR depression and sadly self-harm issues. However the happiness that Jackie brings to my world can't be measured.....

Bonafide superstar. Another miserable year for the devils of course but hughes is going to be a top 10 player in the league very soon, if not right now. This is a guy you can build a cup winning team around. LFGD

Super bummer that he got hurt, kid really came into his second season with better strength and shot. Really excited to see what he can do next year if he can stay healthy.

He is insane on entries into the zone. You hardly ever see him turn it over and he always seems to make entries look so easy. Hughes is a superstar.

Low grade mcl sprain, super common and not a long recovery time. Super glad it’s nothing more serious, it coulda been a hell of a lot worse.
