I remember watching your vlog back in like December (I work at Jack too) and I had to work on Christmas and New Year’s Day and goddd it was HORRIBLE. I’m still working here but I’ve been applying to jobs and I have promised myself even if I don’t have a new job lined up im putting in my two weeks on July 1st. My boss has stopped allowing us to request days off and I don’t wanna be dealing with that shit when I’m going back to school (I’m a full time college student) in august. It’s gonna feel so good not waking up at 5:00 am every weekend 🥳

why are we dealing with the EXACT same thing 😭 i worked all holidays and it was a disaster. I haven’t put in my 2 weeks yet bc i was waiting to move but i just put it in today. I had the worst day and it sent me over the edge, I was like i’m not dealing with people anymore 😭 but i’m a full time college student too!! so it’s really hard working 40 hours a week and having to do school. and dude i swear im gonna be sleeping in so much bc i have to wake up at 5am too.

@@bryannahperez imo don’t feel bad for putting in ur two weeks !! If they don’t have any people thats their problem not yours. The other cashiers and I have been complaining for MONTHS because our boss won’t hire any new people and we get short staffed. One of my coworkers who works afternoon/night shift is ALWAYS left alone cuz my manager leaves around 3 pm and there’s only 4 of them, and she’s always left by herself in the drive thru with long ass orders. She wants to quit when I quit and I don’t blame her at all💯 I dont speak spanish either so it can get annoying when a customer speaks Spanish cuz i have to bother the team leader to take it and i dont wanna be rude and tell the customer to speak english.

@@user-oj7bn5fq4m i’m so sorry i didn’t not see your comment 🤦🏻‍♀️ but ify! my manager hires everyone who applies but they leave within a few weeks bc of how bad my manager can be. like she yells at us a lot lmao so that’s the main reason why everyone quits. I almost quit cuz of her. and your coworker should quit! that’s terrible. but i can understand the spanish orders but i need my coworker to talk to them for me lmao. best of luck tho!

It was the best decision I’ve ever made & it felt so good to finally be out of that place. The management sucked and were big hypocrites, I had enough of it all so I promised myself that I’d quit once I find a new job and I did :) Jack is honestly a mess and you’re underpaid for all the stuff they make you do! They literally made me take orders, charge, pack food, make drinks, and even sometimes be fryer do to being understaffed. They would also try to make me run to hurry up and pack the orders quicker but I’d be like “I’m not getting paid enough to run!” and also on my last day there I saw a roach in the store but I didn’t even bother to kill it bcuz I ain’t getting paid enough to exterminate them roaches! lmao they think I’m gonna be slavin around over minimum wage! Tf they think this is!? It was the worst and honestly I am glad it’s over and I’m starting off new again. I don’t regret working there since it taught me how to multitask, be patient, and have great communication skills. Some advice I’d give you would be to apply somewhere else!! Especially right now since there are many other places that are paying over minimum wage due to not having enough workers. If there was anything that I hated the most about Jack was the Mystery Shoppers. I swear my ex-managers would literally obsess over the mystery shoppers, it was so annoying and that’s all they’d ever worry and talk about. The general manager was a big hypocrite because he wouldn’t help for shit but would complain about the timer/mystery shopper scores. Then there were rumors that they were having an affair with eachother. Everything about that place was awful. They would literally obsess over the smallest things, like I remember they’d get mad and they’d do the most when I would serve the fries full, but that didn’t make sense cuz the customers are paying for the size not for something less. Something else that wouldn’t add up would be how’d they make us fill the cups with like 2/3 of ice but It wouldn’t be fair to the customers since they are paying for the drink not the ice. I can go on and rant all day about so many things that happened but you get the idea... Anyways, I hope the best for you and that you find a job where you are valued and get payed enough for what you do!

took me a few weeks. no more than a month. u catch on pretty fast but the more you do it the more you start remembering. i’ll be in the back of the store and can take orders and remember it by the time i get back up to the front.

hahaha it’s okay we’ve all done something like that too😂 and in one of my videos i showed how to make a strawberry shake. you fill the cup up half way with the shake mix, then a few pumps of the chocolate syrup or the strawberry (if it’s oreo it’s 2 scoops for a small and 3 for a large) then you fill the rest of the cup back with the shake mix. then you just mix it in the mixer and put the whip cream and cherry. it’s hard for me to show how to bag the food bc we’re being timed but the large boxes go in a big bag. Example: jumbo jack, sour dough jack, buttery jack, ultimate CB. pretty much the whole lunch menu the burgers go in a large bag bc they’re big boxes. for breakfast items they’ll usually go in a small bag bc they’re wrapped. for breakfast platters they go in the plastic salad bag. if it’s just the platter it comes with 1 hash brown, syrup, fork, knife. it’s it’s a combo it comes with 2 hashbrowns and the rest is the same. just ask questions from your manger or coworkers.

so when u have their order on the screen, click “adjust” at the top and then add whatever they want to their order and click i believe it says “total” at the top right. it’s the green button

oh yeah 100% me too. so what my manager had asked me was how old i was and if i’ve worked before and if i could come in for an interview. that was me personally so idk what they’ll ask you but the interview was super easy for me all she asked was “tell me about urself” haha honestly i don’t think they care if ur answer is good or bad they’ll hire you right away usually.

lmao we don’t have time for that. it gets super busy so we do everything really fast. my team leader gets mad when we close the window bc as we’re getting the money or card we have to hand everything out. if i can hardly hear them or don’t think i have their order correct i’ll ask them if it’s correct but if i can clearly understand them then i don’t. at the window it takes too much time to repeat. the morning shift at our jacks is fast paced which i don’t show in my vlogs, only when we’re slow. if we get an order wrong then we’ll fix it 🤷🏻‍♀️ but thanks for the tip
