Hey Marty, I started playing guitar two years ago, and for one reason or another just stopped playing for about a year and a half. I started picking it up again about a week ago. You're seriously the best guitar teacher, I wish I lived near you, I would seriously sign up for your guitar lessons. Thank you so much.
@ColourblindCarrot14 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Marty, this is one of my all time favourite songs and thats been right at the top of my list of tunes I've wanted to play. It's one of those that I just assumed would be much to hard and so I've been saving it for a later date. But then with classic Marty style you go and blitz it out in a way that makes it so easy to learn. How do you do it man? There's no one else who's videos you can watch and learn 4 or 5 tunes in 30 mins and nail them. I love you man!

If I'm feeling frustrated with my playing a just put a bit of Marty on and learn a bunch of tunes. One hour watching Marty and you could seriously put together an awesome acoustic set. And there just seems to be no end to his videos. You could probably put together 50 different sets from his vids.

Hi there. I was always a piano man, never got to interested in guitar, but my keyboard's broken so I picked up my sister guitar and with the only three chords I know started playing ( I know 3 freaking songs with the same 3 chords, now 4 thanks to you ). Anyway, your video helped me a lot and I was wondering if you can make a tutorial for another CCR song, or maybe and oldie, for n00bs. Thanks! Greetings from Argentina.
@Tbanschb14 жыл бұрын
Man I was really hoping you were going to do the "capo-less" version, even though Jack Johnson does play this with a capo I'm not a fan of using them. Guess I'll just look up the tabs for the chorus. You still the man though!
@teddythumper14 жыл бұрын
Marty...you are the greatest! How about Jackson Browne? I don't think you have done one of his songs yet...he really has some classics. He does some alternate tunings to make it easy to play.. "In The Shape of a Heart" might be a good one.

When watching the "how-to" part of the video, does anyone else just feel teased. The sound is so beautiful and I just want him to start playing the song through sometimes.

Once again a great lesson Marty. One thing that I notice about you and most good guitar players is that thier hand always look relaxed. Mine are stiff. I have been playing for about five years, so I would say that I am at an intermediate level. I think that having loose hands would help alot. Do you know any techniques to help loosen them up? Thanks.
