This song brings back memories of when I first separated from my ex.We would still talk on the phone late at night because we still had days where we wished we could make it work and we missed each other. I had just bought this album and played it alot.

I don't understand the logic behind comments like this. 1) Do you know him that well that you've seen everything he can play on the guitar? Can you really make a judgement on his entire playing from one performance? Or even from his records? He plays this efficiently and serves the song well, that's the best thing a musician can do, and he also sings beautiful melodies over it. He might be able to play more technical things than his records express, but would that make a difference? Hell no. Just because a guitar player isn't masturbating-musically over a piece of music doesn't mean they aren't good or technical players. You don't know him, you don't know everything he can play. 2) Guitar players who only care about guitar-wanking over music are the ONLY people that care about this kind of thing. 3) You've sort of said it yourself in your own comment by saying the song is still good. It's like you've only just realised, 'oh wait, can any song still be good if the person isn't playing anything considered to be technically proficient?' There is a sad minority of musicians in the world who judge each other off face value like this.
@occuits342910 жыл бұрын
Occuits It's meaningless to make these kinds of judgements as well!

[Verse 1] When your mind is a mess, so is mine, I can't sleep 'Cause it hurts when I think my thoughts aren't at peace With the plans that we make, the chances we take They're not yours, they're not mine There's waves that can break All the words that we said and the words that we mean Words can fall short, can't see the unseen 'Cause the world is awake for somebody's sake Now please close your eyes Woman, please get some sleep [Chorus] And know that if I knew all of the answers I would not hold them from you Know all of the things that I know We told each other there is no other way, mm-mm-mm [Verse 2] Too much silence can be misleadin' You're driftin', I can hear it in the way that you're breathin' We don't really need to find reason 'Cause out the same door that it came well it's leavin', it's leavin' Leavin' like a day that's done and part of a season Resolve is just a concept that's as dead as the leaves But at least we could sleep, it's all that we need When we wake we would find, our minds would be free To go to sleep [Chorus] And know that if I knew all of the answers I would not hold them from you Know all of the things that I know 'Cause we told each other there is no other way, mm-mm-mm #peace
