I respect your opinion but I'll kindly have to differ. You see... Jack was never the ruthless kind of a guy who had to be given a dramatic reveal of his good intentions... He was always a good hearted person who was forced into a shitty situation because of the debts that his parents could not pay back and is trying his best to not lose his good side and himself even when he's thrown into a world of crime. Plus, as Calm minded as Jack's character has been portrayed so far, I am pretty sure he came to realize in these 5 years that He would have been in this situation even if Joke did not meddle in his matters. He does not hold Joke responsible for his situation in THAT way. His hatred for joke is purely based on crushed hope and trust . Also, The debt collector ,Boss , need not kill a person to be scary. People who know everything but still decide to play with you to make use of you and secretly track your every move to use against you are scarier. Boss knew what Jack's been doing but still silently let him do it while also secretly planning on spilling water over his plans. that is a cruel way to mess up with one's mind. Jack will never know if his actions are being watched by Boss or not. That constant fear of "What if" will keep lingering in his mind all the time. That's why I love Jack&Joker so much. It's not just some dramatic mafia shit that is only limited to what you see on screen. There are a lot of Areas where the things are laid down very subtly and that, kind of, gives you the freedom to use your imagination. You'll need to pay attention to minute details like the slightest changes in expressions because sometimes their expressions tell a lot without any words being spoken. As we all know YinWar are actors who are good with facial expressions. ESPECIALLY WAR And I am so glad the writers and directors took advantage of this fact and incorporated it beautifully into the show it's not all black and white with this show
