The Brandeis Forum speech at Hunter College ca. November 1958. Jack was famous from the belated publication of 'On The Road' for 14 months by this time. Well on the way toward his disillusioned alcoholic phase too, but so innocent still. Little wonder the likes of James Wechsler and other participants tried to rip Jack a new one later in print.
