You're correct about many things but not money. Money isn't really an agreement. The value of our unbacked, or fiat, currency isn't based on trust or faith. The reason people value money is because they have an obligation to pay taxes, and pay them in dollars, OR ELSE. It's an obligation enforced by a government with a monopoly on violence. Stick to spiritual matters, or educate yourself about how the monetary system really works as revealed by MMT. The spiritual work is vastly more important, but there's nothing the public understands less than the monetary system. Most people still think money is a commodity in itself. All money is debt and a dollar is basically a tax credit. The Federal government isn't funded by Federal taxes. States ARE funded by State taxes because States are USERS of the currency, whereas the Federal government (specifically Congress thru the Federal Reserve) is the CREATOR of the currency. Federal taxes are actually deleted!! It's a current. All money enters the economy from Congress passing bills, allocating money to the bill, then the Federal Reserve keystrokes that money into existence and deposits it in the Treasury. It's a circuit, a current, thus the term currency. Then the Federal government taxes that old money out of the economy and the circuit has been completed. Our money hasn't been backed by gold, or limited by the amount of gold, since 1971 when Nixon took us off the gold standard. Educate yourself, if interested by: #learnMMT

@@eleusis2286 I'm just trying to pass along what I think is important knowledge. I didn't mean to come across overly judgemental. I didn't know any of this stuff before I started studying it either. But yes, I'm a free speech absolutist, so I agree with you.
