Noel Neill in this interview still had that beautiful, soothing voice she had in the TV series.

2 very accomplished actors (Jack Larsen in particular displayed outstanding talent in his role as Jimmy Olsen) and 2 very nice people in real life. Actors of this caliber are rare....and people of this caliber are almost impossible to find in today's total self absorption society.

They both looked so OLD.....She more than him, but at least they both still had their mental faculties.......I've known a good number of friends who past on from Alzheimers, at a young age too, it's heartbreaking, tragic n pitiful!!

Lois and Superman were never girlfriend and boy friend in the 1952 to 58 series. Superman was always rescuing Lois and Jimmy’s but there was never any romance between them. Just a lovely friendship and banter between the three with Perry White yelling at them all the time. I thought this was magical as a kid watching it on my local TV channel in Australia in the late 60’s. And now watching the DVDs in my 60’s it’s still magical, the effects are so early and crude as to be laughsble but I still enjoy the episodes very much today in 2024. RIP the whole cast , Did George really shoot himself, I doubt it but that is just me. Why would he want to take his life. Maybe one day we will know the real truth. I hope so.
I would watch the show as a kid and still look at it today. The RKO/ MGM back lot where the Gone with the wind set and train station was, that train and station was also used for the 1959 Some like it Hot movie with Marilyn dodging the steam from the train.

Love it I am such a big fan of the show and it’s so nice to hear the actors share their memories and their experience that mean no matter how many more Superman’s are going to be to be like one of the first to play these characters will always be

Actually, SUPERMAN was NOT the first television series produced in color. THE CISCO KID preceded it and was one of the first.

Wrong about being the first series produced in color. The first was the Cisco Kid.

Wow! This was great!! The only classic television souvenir I've ever wanted was Roddy McDowell's Bookworm suit from Batman!

Love your report, but it's incorrect to say " 'The Adventures of Superman' AIRED from 1952 to 1958." It's still being aired (or "telecast" on at least one cable network) to this day. It was PRODUCED from 1951 to 1957. During the 1960's it was the most popular syndicated series on TV, and was broadcast on scores of TV stations across North America (and around the world).

What was the atmosphere like on the Superman set? Like other sets. Oxygen and nitrogen. Why do you ask?
