You encounter the same lug hole placement issue on a Seiko Flightmaster. The holes are placed to near to the case side so getting an aftermarket strap mounted using standard spring bars can be problematic. Using curved spring bars mitigates this issue to a degree, in my experience. They can be picked up pretty cheaply from multiple vendors.

I think I'm more excited about the Traska Venturer GMT review. Better price, love the scratch resistant layer and just looks different from all the Pepsi/soda bezels on all GMT watches. Looking forward to seeing your review Rob! Thanks!

Good video! This is a nice looking watch. The bezel appears to be spot on. I agree with you concerning the lack of additional markings on the dial indicating the 24 hour scale. I can take them or leave them. The color way offerings are nice. The reason the drilled spring bar holes are a non-issue is due to the fact the spring bar holes are too close to the case. I am glad you mentioned that point. It always is frustrating to purchase a watch and find out after the fact that you can not utilize any other strap on the watch. The clasp and link combination appears to be very long. This will not be an issue for those with an above average wrist. However, it will completely offset the benefit of the great case dimensions for those with a smaller wrist. Unfortunately, the big miss is the price tag. I believe they are gouging the market. I believe they thought they would be the first to deliver an affordable travelers GMT. Their mindset removes any desire for me to purchase their watch. Time will correct their mistake. Traska has an offering with this movement, excellent build quality and better pricing. Lorier will be bringing this movement to the market this summer. I am sure there will be many others.

I think this is a really cool, classy design. I like the attention to detail with the adjustable clasp, 7 layers of lume, lumed bezel, lume even beside the date, size, bracelet look, etc. That is the kind of stuff us enthusiasts love. The use of the 9075 is a big plus as well. I think the price is reasonable for all that it offers. My only design criticism is I wish the 3/6/9 markers were a little bit differentiated for quicker orienting when looking at the time. I wish I could handle one of these in person. I had tried to go to their pop up shop they had for several months once (it was a bit out of the way) and I don't know if the person working was on a break or ran out or what, but the store was locked and nobody answered the door. I could see the watches from a distance. Anyway, I didn't unfortunately get to handle one. I hope it sells well and they come out with more enthusiast oriented watches.

Have had the Pepsi version ordered since October and excited they will ship soon. I love this Candy Corn version too and may pick it up after I wear my Pepsi awhile I was in Dallas a few months ago and got to handle the proto-type in their store (which is moving soon from uptown) and it was a very nice watch. Super nice people there too who clearly love watches.

Dude I’ve been trying to get a hold of a JM dive watch for over a year; we’re incredibly proud down here in Texas to be have locally *made* products and it thrills me that they’re getting more attention but man I hope it helps them increase production.

Any brand who puts the spring bars too close to the case to easily fit a strap or nato has a design miss in my opinion, especially with a micro brand who should be more in touch with the watch community, we love to swap out straps.

I really like everything about that Jack Mason GMT. The Lume is great but I still don't think that you've featured a watch on your channel that can touch the Foliot Stratonaut GMT Lume that you featured several months ago. I'm still looking for a nicer watch with better Lume, and that Foliot is going to be hard to beat.

Sized for your wrist, doesn't look like there are many more links to take out. That would be a concern for me. I've had a few (cheaper) bracelets that don't work even on my 7+" sized wrist because there aren't enough removable links...

Probably a couple of hundred dollars overpriced but the quick adjust makes it worth it. I will never buy a watch on a bracelet without a quick adjust system.

I think they are trying to say that the GMT has the same traveller's GMT function at the Rolex GMT. Most other GMTs are office GMTs.

Actually, I own one and it isn't a stretch at all; the Strat-o-timer is inspired by the GMT MASTER II and is a very high quality, accurate watch. If you were to hold one, you would understand.
