I really like this interview. Jack is still a normal guy, but also he is clever and sensible. He's gonna be a great actor. He's already great and has the potential to become one of the greatest. I hope one day he gonna win BAFTA :)

This guy has been able to represent the worst English Rat as Brett in "Eden Lake" to representing a true British gentleman as Bobby Charlton in "United". Every so often someone like this comes along...and we take notice. An extremely insightful and articulate young man...very genuine and honest.....I wont say hes another Brando or Penn or Crowe...but I will say hes something other than these guys.

wow this comment was 9 years ago - i seen Jack in many things now - hes started i think in Skins, was a favorite of mine - i seen many lads (and girls for that matter) start on channel 4 programs, Skins and Shameless for example and think to myself 'watch this one, hes going to be big' and Jack is no exception, some of the roles he's played, some serious acting going on, great work Jack, keep on going, not sure about the Brando, Penn but as a Brit, more of a young Michael Cane, i'm very sure your career will be as fruitful

Thank goodness for PBS and well-stocked public library DVD collections, otherwise Americans like me might've missed out on some of the best films made--This is England being one. While it's a shame that the best British films aren't marketed more extensively in the states, there's absolutely nothing like stumbling onto a great one all on your own.

You allowed Jack to open up on many levels and thats quite an achievement. Regardless of being cousins. Laughed at the " legged it before picking up tab" comment. Something I would have said!! In regard to the interview...Its a safe bet to get a "mate" to interview you. I feel sorry for his other "mate" whose made to look like a mute groupie, nodding his head every so often. Not really fair on him. But I doubt he cares, he looks happy enough just to be beside his idol. Although upon closer observation he looks a tad worried that it may be his round. A round he cant afford!!! Would like to interview Jack outside the comfort zone of the local pub. And in Australia. Jack? Any chance?

I just watched eden lake never heard of Jack before ...I thought jeez wonder what impact such violence had on the kids in this film ?? Seems Jack is fine and has a career how about the others? Think directors take a LOT on themselves putting minors in such cruel horror fests. How is it even allowed ? Child abuse ?
