@@smh40smh44because it’s an actual copyrighted song, it’s called “Tarzan Boy” by an Italian synth pop band called Baltimora, released in 1985 & fronted by Irishman Jimmy McShane. It was a global smash hit & was number 1 in Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands & number 3 in U.K. It was released under EMI label in USA & got to 13 on the billboard 100. It is used in all kinds of sports; obviously Jack Perry used to use it as his entrance music, but it’s also used by NY Mets whenever Mark Canha came in to bat, and also Czech Republic soccer team Sparta Prague have used it as a celebration song whenever the team scores a goal since 1986. The problem is royalties - it costs any broadcaster a lot of money every time they play this song because it is somebody else’s property. The only way it’s sustainable is if the sports team makes a lot of money and doesn’t mind paying the fees to use it. Obviously AEW isn’t making anywhere near the kind of money that NY Mets or Sparta Prague make and they couldn’t justify the expenditure.
