Miss Jack, best father on Emmerdale and British soaps when I was growing up. Miss Jack and his farming and Emmerdale being about a rural farming community and their struggles. And Jack and cathy arhhhhhh and Robert was such a cute child before he became the selfish brat he seems to finally at 30 something come out of.

what a load of rubbish, he did not threaten suicide he talked about "giving up". Emotional abuse, every one on the show emotionally abuses someone. Robert, who did not give a damn about the farm wanted to sue Jack for giving his other son the farm, you know the son that actually cared about the farm and wanted to be a farmer, not him who hated farming, wanted to be a hot shot businessman and only did it to get back at Andy (per normal) and his dad- now that is emotional abuse on Robert's side. robert was a nasty piece of work I would say for most his teenage life, I am not going to look back at Robert now with rose tinted glasses because he is kissing Aaron, that kid was one of the most annoying brats on the show- even Sarah said so too (whoops that is emotional abuse by Sarah)

and back to the mythical farm hand- anyone watching it back then knows it was impossible for there to be a farm hand, the farm was broke, Robert lived with his auntie Cathy or abroad but 2016 we have a mythical farm hand! and again this liking Andy better more crap, Andy was disowned first by Jack and Andy hated living with the Sugdens in his early teens. Jack even thought about putting Andy back into care because money was tight and they did not get on. Robert was offered the farm first but did not want to have the farm. Jack had Robert as his best man to his and Dianne's wedding but did not invite Andy. Robert (the 3rd actor) became a selfish vindictive brat that nearly killed in Jack's eyes his two other kids (Andy and Daz) on purpose and was money motivated and never gave a damn about the farm or the family business. Don't get why bleeding hearts are for Robert, he came back from abroad with revenge on his mind but Jack could not see it as he was just glad his son had returned- correct me if I am wrong on any of this but I actually watched Emmerdale growing up. And alot of time Jack was a single father
