From their first meeting in the briefing room, the respect and chemistry was there between them. This is one of, if not the best writing of a male and female character in a series ever. Considering how long SG-1 was. Yet nothing explicit sexual was seen between them, but you as the audience knew they loved one another throughout and was always pleased to see them bond. Like at the end of the episode Death knell. Having been rescued she was so tired and he said let's go? And she reply I just want to rest right here for a while, and he took her head and lay it on his chest. (Just classic) Or the episode beneath the surface.
